Mindful Eating
Is a technique that control your eating habits.
Being mindful about your food could promote weight loss, reduce binge eating, and help you feel better.
It comes from a Buddhist concept, mindful means full concentration and focus on what you are doing, you can apply Mindful in anything that evolves a verb of action. In this case we are focusing on eating here are some tips to achieve that goal.
1- appreciating your food
2- learning to cope with guilt and anxiety about food
3- eating slowly and without distraction
4- distinguishing between true hunger and non-hunger triggers for eating
5- engaging your senses by noticing colors, smells, sounds, textures, and flavors
These aspects will make your body reflect in a full experience and more conscious reactions than only eating in the automatic mode.
